Considering my own personal history, that makes me exactly as qualified to talk about leadership as he is.

It's not about being qualified or trying or anything like that. He's just never going to be as good at it as he wants to be.

Would you consider it better or worse that he aims higher than he can achieve? Or is the emotional cost too great for him to bear on his own?

[ His answer is a long time in coming, mostly because he doesn't know how to answer that. ]

Every Autobot leader is gonna get compared to Optimus Prime by everyone. Not just Autobots, Decepticons too. He won't live up to it and he won't like the feeling of failing to do so.

[ So the last one. And Bumblebee is his friend, and he doesn't want that to consume Bee - that he has to constantly compare himself to Optimus Prime and find himself wanting. ]
